Ruins of Chateau De Montaigu – Mercurey

Perched high on the hill above Mercurey and Saint-Martin-sous-Montaigu are the ruins of the Chateau de Montaigu.  Wikipedia has some history (english translation of French).  You can park at the village pond in Mercurey and take a circuit up and over the hill to Touche and back down, passing by the ruins of the chateau as you go.  Very old. Very interesting.
